Please, less fail. Flail is extremely popular in PvE. As is Save Yourself, heck most of the skills you listed are popular in PvE and sometimes in PvP as well. Save yourself... really? No one uses it? Bad skill because it takes up alot of adrenaline??? Oh geez... FGJ+DSlash+Save Yourself=PvE ownage

I think thread proves that GW is all about build opinion. Every skill can be used if you get creative with it.

I've removed the ones I agree with, but can you tell me how You're All Alone isn't used? And almost every paragon and some warriors run Save Yourselves in pve. Disciplined Stance is used on a few monk bars. Flail is the best IAS for a hammer warrior. And Headbutt is a great skill if used correctly, (w/n) but there are other better elites.

@Firefly21

Auspicious Perry is one of the best ELITES I've found in the game. Use it with Riposte and Deadly Riposte. I've soloed Aataxe using this tactic and it works quite well.

I don't have time to go over the other skills but you obviously have a poor selection in PvE understanding as all of these tactic skills are very usable.

wastrels could be used in the assacaster build, though i dont think it beats SoJ's on demand knockdown.

Wow, there actually is a use for PnH in a team build? I might have to try that farm just to actually use that skill!

You know what elite I've never, ever used after capping? Amity. I think I might be able to use it to film some game movies or something though.

1 - In guildwars you have pve must have skills (i not talking abou pve only skills), this skills dont work agaisnt humans in pvp, and you have pvp good skills that just dont work in pve... if you play only pve dont blame all skills, if you play only pvp dont blame all skills...

2 - You can use useless skills to trigger a skill combo chain, some useless skill are cheap or have a fast cast or a long hex for cheap atribute points waste...
i think some skills are just to trigger combos...


95% of useless skill here have some good use, if you kown the mechanics and how made your owns builds.

about the OP question

[skill]Wastrel's Collapse[/skill]

you can mix this skill with... [skill]soul barbs[/skill] + [skill]Recurring Insecurity[/skill] this a wonderfull armor ignore damage source, in some cases the area, quest or mission is easy but the boss is hard like rotscale, Wastrel's Collapse is a cheap fast recharge hex... you can use it...

But i agree... Wastrel's Collapse is the worst skill in the game... if you dont combo it with something else... useless at max

Since you can't have 2 elites on one bar, that combo above is pretty void. There are plenty of 'cheap fast recharge hex' that you can carry yourself in addition to Reccurring insecurity.

No need to bring someone else along AND have them waste their elite slot.

auspicious parry is great for pvp
war v war can go great with riposting
ppl pls
if you don't know anything about the skills you're talking about then don't
some "worthless" skills are of great tactical use in combo's with others

Yeah, that'd work great with my build where I use two elites too. My all time favorite has to be my Mo/Me/E/P with

Decent bar for RA.

Seriously though, [skill]"Incoming!"[/skill] is an elite that is easily outgunned by many Prot skills. Also, [skill]"The Power is Yours!"[/skill] is... just terrible. A BiP/BR Necro can run part Blood Spike part battery and walk all over a TPiY? Paragon in any setting.

Wastrel's Collapse sucks, Locust's Fury, even though for some reason everyone wants it to be good.
